THE LUMINEERS CONCERT

On April 13, 2023, the historic Boulder Theater became the launchpad for a new era of climate action through music, hosting the inaugural Right Here, Right Now Mini Global Climate Concert—presented by United Nations Human Rights and the Recording Academy.

Headlining the sold-out evening were The Lumineers, the acclaimed American folk-rock band and two-time GRAMMY® nominees known for their poetic lyricism and evocative storytelling, alongside six-time GRAMMY®-nominated British powerhouse Yola, whose genre-defying voice and activism have earned her international acclaim. Together, they brought an unforgettable performance that blended artistry with advocacy, striking a deeply human chord in the global conversation on climate justice.

Proceeds from the concert supported the Right Here, Right Now Climate Fund at MusiCares, providing direct assistance to musicians and creators whose lives and work are increasingly affected by the climate crisis.
